Artist's Statement

Art for me is not a static object, but an ethical act of relation—a threshold where the monumental and the momental meet. My work is rooted in Izročilo (Heritage), in the realization that on the long run, we are all ancestors. I seek to express this through site-specific practices where the human gesture and living duration (durée) confront the weight of timeless permanence. Stone, seed, the gift of being. Whether through the imprint of a hand, the gifting of forest seeds, or a bronze bird that holds its song in silence atop a dark pillar, each sculpture is a reflection on how a subtle shift occurs within us—an impulse that prompts us to enter into the essence of Being. Ultimately, my practice dwells in the in-betweenness that persists between the silent language of form and the resonance of encounters, opening a doorway to Being itself.
