Vortex of the Dyad

A column whose entire surface is worked into small overlapping cuts — feathers, or scales, spiralling upward. At the top two heads emerge from the mass, inclined toward one another.

Slovenian keeps a grammatical form for exactly two, the dual. Here it is carved as a vortex that carries the pair upward.
